W.J. McKeever, Inc. was formed in September of 1976, in Riverside, California, to provide professional engineering, land planning and surveying services in the Inland Empire and adjacent desert regions.

The firm moved to its current facilities in May of 2021. Our offices are located on Outer Highway 10 off of Yucaipa Blvd. in Yucaipa, CA. Our central location allows us easy access to all parts of the Inland Empire and the high and low desert areas of Victorville and Palm Springs.

The McKeever History

Since formation, our professional staff at W.J. McKeever Civil Engineering & Land Surveying has provided expertise in complete engineering, land planning and surveying services on a wide range of projects, allowing us to effectively offer services and management of projects ranging from single lot grading plans to large residential, commercial and industrial projects. Our firm’s involvement in these projects has included all phases of planning, site engineering, construction surveying, construction inspection and contract management.

W.J. McKeever Inc.

William J. McKeever founded W.J. McKeever Inc. in September of 1976. He was a dedicated married family man with 4 children. He was acting president from 1976 and worked up until he fell ill in February of 2020 and passed away shortly after. In addition to donating his engineering expertise to various projects within his community of Grand Terrace, he also was President of the Riverside Highland Water Co. for 35 years, served on the Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino Diocesan Building Committee and was a dedicated parishioner at Christ the Redeemer Church in Grand Terrace .

Along with his love of family, friends and community he also had a passion for sailing. When he was not working or at home he was most likely racing his sailboat in Newport Beach or at Catalina.

He was a hard working Civil Engineer with a reputation for honesty and good morals. His friends, family, coworkers and clients all remember him with fondness and kind words.

I am Lisa Young the daughter of W.J. McKeever Inc.'s founder William McKeever. Having worked for the company since 1985, alongside my father, I was able to experience first-hand the quality values, work ethic and integrity that is the foundation of W. J. McKeever Inc. Beginning at the ground level as a teenager and advancing to the front office as head of accounting and Project Coordinator. I truly learned all aspects of our profession and our engineering firm.

With my father's passing I have all the emotion of the loss of a great friend, mentor, father, boss and a man I respected and loved dearly. I took over the family business as the Sole Corporate Officer and Owner of W.J McKeever Inc. With my expertise and with a strong team, we continue to keep my father's legacy alive.

With my 36 years of experience in the Engineering industry, I continue to oversee all day-to-day operations along with planning and implementing a new direction of the firm, advancing technology and state of the art tools. Working side by side with my father for over 3 decades was a blessing and I am committed to keeping his legacy of high standards, values of integrity & hard work alive and bring future family into the company so that W.J. McKeever Inc will continue to thrive and grow.

W.J. McKeever Inc. Civil Engineering, provides professional engineering, planning and surveying services to builders, developers and public agencies operating in the Inland Empire and the high and low desert areas of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. We provide professional services for all types of residential, commercial, industrial and public works projects.

The size of our organization provides the capability of handling large projects, while maintaining the involvement of the company’s principals in all work performed by the company. It is our intention to continue to provide direct professional supervision on all projects in which we are involved.
